I have purchased two pair of these shoes, both of which squeaked. My puppy chewed one shoe of the original pair necessitating the purchase of a second pair. Imagine my surprise when the second pair squeaked also. I have other Naturalizer shoes which do not squeak, so this quality seems characteristic of this style only. Great looking and feeling shoe. Just don't wear it to sneak up on someone. They'll know you're coming !!!

I had an ankle fusion which caused me to give up most styles of shoes. A shoe had to be compatible with my diminished range of motion. This lead me to Crocs. But, after many years, I longed to have a more stylish shoe to wear with my pants and jeans.
I love the Mardi! I've been wearing the stone colored one and just finished ordering the Imperial Navy and Coffee Bean colors. I wish the navy leaned more toward a denim blue, but I"m more than willing to conceive that point because this particular style of a mule is ultra comfortable & feminine looking. I think the later is due to the elastic being in the center & not on the sides.

Great looks and comfort, BUT I had to order replacement pair because the elastic gore on one stretched out in just a few short weeks. The mule began to feel loose and slip. The replacement was done easily and quickly. I am hoping that this time both elastic gores will give good service.

This shoe is very comfortable. I purchased a half size larger than my normal size since I'd heard that the lip at the back of the shoe can rub against the heel. With a larger shoe I do not have this problem. Sometimes the shoe feels like it might fall off, but it never has. Not quite comfortable as an action shoe, but very nice for work or play.

About 3 years ago I purchased a Naturalizer Mule and wished I could remember the style name - it is built much like the Mardi - same sole - but it has no top elastic gore. It had a velcro, adjustable buckle covering the top of the shoe. I LOVED this shoe and wished I had ordered several pair because I can no longer get them. First of all I like Naturalizer because they are one of the few companies where I can get my size, a 6 1/2 E - many companies do not offer wide sizes under a 7. Secondly, I loved these mules because they came up high enough on the foot so that they did not slop when walking - in this respect they are much nicer than the Mardi. Many mules have too much give to them when walking so that they act like a "flip flop" making walking any distance uncomfortable because you are always having to grip the shoe to keep it on. I think the Mardi will be the same way. I wished Naturalizer would bring back the old style. The pair I have are ready to rot off my feet, but I can't find anything comparable. I think the Harmony Mule would work well but I can't get them in my size.

I like this Naturalizer shoe. They made one similar a couple of years ago that I tried to find but they no longer make. This shoe is similar but I wished they would bring the other shoe back ( I can't remember the style name ). It was made with the same sole - the top of the mule had an adjustable strap across the top. I wore that shoe constantly for three years before it finally gave out - loved that shoe.

These are the most comfortable non-athletic shoes I've ever owned. And my husband thinks they look nice, which is a rare compliment from him. I can wear them with jeans or slacks and they're perfect for traveling - slipping off and back on at the airport. Overall for the price, it is a comfortable, lightweight, stylish mule. However, I prefer not to have the sewn lip edge at the heel of the shoe. As my foot slides a little in the shoe the lip portion cut into my heel making it very uncomfortable as I tested the shoe walking back and forth in my living room. I couldn't imagine putting up with that all day. I returned the product to find something with a straight heel edge.

This is a great shoe but it just isn't sized right. I bought this shoe in a size 11, but ret'd it because it was too big, exchanged it for a size 10, but was too small. (these shoes did not come from this website). I went on-line again and found that this website had it available in a 10-1/2. Hooray! 11 too big, 10 too small, 10-1/2 has to be just right...no it wasn't. Fit like the size 10 so I had to return them. This is no fault of this website, don't the manufacturer's have any standards anymore?? It is hard for me to shop at the malls, so I rely on the internet for a lot of my shopping so I expect the manufacturer's to have standard sizing. I own more Naturalizer brand shoes than any other, but it seems that of their own styles the sizes vary a lot and are not standard.

These are one of the best and most comfortable shoes I own. Even after a full day on your feet, your feet will feel fine. I liked them so much that I bought 4 pair (2 pair brown and 2 pair black). I believe Naturalizer no longer carries the Mardi and I didn't want to be without a pair when mine eventually wear out or become scuffed. I hope this recommendation is helpful to you. They are truly wonderful Naturalizer shoes.
