These are a great summer shoe to wear without socks. They were comfortable immediately in the black version. I then ordered a white pair and though they are the same size they fit a little snugger. I wear Keds/Grasshoppers all day every day. I prefer slip-on. I want to be able to wash them in the washer and dry in the sun. That takes a sturdy counter in the heel. Clean shoes have better support.

I have an old pair of these that fit very well. They also had a ribbed sole which was easier to walk in than this flat, slippery sole. I probably will not wear them at all. Wish I had returned them before trying outdoors (to scuff the slippery sole).

Wanted a cute sneaker that I could walk in without my feet hurting and I did not want a big clunky sneaker. I wanted these to wear with capri's and shorts. I have owned a pair in the past and these served the purpose. I have a flat, very narrow foot, these fit good in the heel but in the front toe area I had to tighten the tie, because that area was just a little too wide. I purchased the beige this time because I had the white previously and they became dirty quickly.

I wear this style almost all the time because I have a medical problem from surgery on my back years ago and I find this style fits and does not aggravate my feet and I have every color. I usuually replace at least one pair every season and the older pair becomes my yard working shoe. I love these shoes because at 85 they are easy for me to put on and take off and they look neat.

I was really happy to find this type of shoe in a size/width I could wear. These are really comfortable in the width I ordered and were a really good price. I will probably spray them with water repellant because they are white and will stain. But, they will go with everything.

Although they are marked medium width, these are an unusual fit - I have narrow, flat feet and they feel tight across the instep. This is not a problem I typically have. The heels are too wide to be "narrow". I am hoping they will loosen across the instep with wear. I will keep them because they are really cute.

This is my second pair of this shoe (different color). It only comes in AA and I wear a AAA, which is difficult to find, but I can comfortably wear with socks. I don't know if washing is recommended, but I have washed my first pair several times on a delicate cycle and they come out just fine! I recommend.

The Grasshopper West-Wind slip on has become my spring/summer go to shoe. They are so comfortable and I get a lot of comments on how neat and tidy they look. I use this product for casual wear. They are comfortable, I like the rounded toe style. I have narrow heels & find it difficult to order shoes narrow enough, the size Narrow which I've worn for years are too wide, if I try S or SS sizes, then I'm subject to having to pay for extra postage for returns. My theory of present wider shoes is that
they are manufactured out of the country now & they try to make a general last to fit more people than when they were USA manufactured.
