These boots are a great alternative to tennies with jeans and/or other dark pants. When you don't feel like heels, these work with shorter slacks as well for the office -or travel. True to Hommerson fit - they are comfortable from day 1.

I really want Roz Hommerson to keep this one. I would make it a regular purchase. I'm extremely hard to fit and need shoes to accommodate orthotics, with the extra room orthotics need in depth (and length for the room they take up at the heel). I'm approximately a 12-1/2 D size, and scaling up to 13D really made it, although, I can tell that with the inherent forward slip of the orthotics, I need the toe room now for sock comfort. I am an elementary school teacher and I have morning duty outside. I wanted a high-topped shoe that would help keep my feet and ankles warm and dry, but I also wanted a shoe that would be comfortable to wear all day long inside as well. I choose well in the Clock Demi-boot. It has just enough lining to help keep my feet warm in typical winter temperatures and is stylish enough to wear with slacks at work. It's so comfortable that I can wear it all day long, through school hours then on to teacher meetings, my son's basketball practice, the grocery store, and all the other errands before we finally make it back home. These were a splurge for me. I wanted something for casual get-togethers, informal meetings, etc. The fit is a little snug across the top at first, but the leather is very supple and I expect them to stretch as they are broken in.

I see a lot of comments about the sizes running small -- according to the charts, I'm a 5 1/2 AA, but I tend to me much happier in a 5B (or even a 4 1/2 if it's a pump), regardless of the brand; based on that, I would say the sizing runs fairly true. But if you like a roomier fit, you might want to try a wider width. (Personally, it was very refreshing to pull them on and not feel as if I could walk out of them at any moment!)

I have a hard time finding shoes to fit because of my small foot (4-4-1/2) and I cannot find shoes in the store so my only alternative is through online products which can be very frustrating. I really liked the shoe, but it was too narrow. I would like to try going up to a 5 (I got the 4-1/2), but if it doesn't fit then I will be out another $6.50 which would be a total of $13 just to try to see if the shoe fits. I know this is not your problem, but I wish there was a way to know this kind of information before getting the shoe. Plus I wish shoe manufacturers would realize there is a market for small feet!!

I got these for a trip to China. I ordered a half size larger than I normally do and I am glad I did. I have problems with shoes that lace due to nerve damage in my right foot. I am able to lace these loose enough to overcome that. I am pleased with them and I am sure they will fit the bill for the trip. Love them with jeans.

I work in a classroom with very active children. These light weight boots are perfect. They seem to conform to my feet, making it easier to sit on the floor and the non-slip soles makes it easier to run and play with the kids. The only thing I do is change the shoelaces. These shoes are very high quality, but unfortunately I had to return them, as they were too small and hurt my feet. I probably just ordered the wrong size, but the two pairs of shoes we have received from this company were too small (men's & women's), so I'm hoping the third pair on backorder will fit. When I first tried these on, my feet were probably a little swollen at the end of the day. I was afraid they were too small, and I was very disappointed because I really thought they were cute, butter soft and flexible. The next morning I gave them another try, and they felt really good; they fit snugly, but much like a glove. They continued to feel good throughout my work day (school teacher).

I have searched far and wide for this style of boot, as my 82 yr. old mother preferred this style and has worn them for years. However, when she tried the boot on she informed me that the soles of the shoes caused a "burning"sensation on the bottoms of her feet. Perhaps the material used in the soles was a fabricated material and not real leather or rubber.

Bought these boots for a sudden trip to the mountains. Being from Florida, I couldn't have a real heavy boot because I wanted to wear them again. I found these. Loved them! I have very long narrow feet (10.5 A5)and it is almost impossible for me to find shoes (let alone boots) that fit. This is the third pair of these boots that I've purchased after having owned the other two pair for 2-3 years. They are comfortable, do not slip, and can be worn with thin or thick socks. They are most appropriate for casual wear, but I've been known to wear them to work and for travel in the winter, although they are not appropriate for inclement weather.

I have been buying Clocks for 10 years now. I have a pair in every color! They are THE MOST comfortable demi-boot I've ever owned and there is no way I'll ever wear anything else. The color in the catalog was perfect for what I wanted this item for. The color as delivered is no where near this blue shade. It is more a faded gray.

This is the first time I have found a boot-type shoe in a narrow width (AAA). And it has good looks to boot! Still a bit stiff but I'm sure that will work out. Could use a bit more arch support. Not perfect but very nice.

I have all colors in this boot except the demim plus I have 2 sizes in two of the colors (to wear heavier socks). They are as comfortable as sneakers and much more stylish.

I wanted them to wear with jeans and slacks. The pair I have are slick on wet pavement and snow, but these are not.

I wear them every day. My dress is very casual at work and at leisure and they're quite comfortable. Because they've got a high ankle, they can be difficult to get on unless you loosen the laces a bit. The only real complaint I have is they come with these very stiff waxed shoelaces that are useless, so I bought my own long laces and the problem was solved. I wear them all the time, and am seriously considering getting them in navy and brown (I currently have the black). If they weren't an ankle-boot style, I'd probbly wear them all summer too, although I suspect they'd be a little hot.

I like this boot very much and wear it to work often. One disappointment is that the blue color is not a deeper navy blue and the finish is matte rather than a shiny leather. Comfortable and good in winter weather.

These shoes look great with office pants. They are the best narrow fit I have tried, truly narrow. They have a unique, different sort of look, being so long and skinny, in a midrise boot type height. I like them!

I wear this shoe daily with my jeans or my exercise pants. The shoes are supple and stable enough to wear when practicing a dance move, on the treadmill, exercise bike, or floor exercising. They fit snuggly and are very durable.

I wear the product with my jeans, which I sometimes wear to work and always at home or around town. I like the support of an ankle-high boot and that it keeps cold air from "invading." I also like being able to polish my boots (everyone has her own idiosyncracies) and that I can wear thin or heavy socks with the boots. I feel different when I am wearing boots, whether ankle or higher (tougher, sexier, abler, smarter--who knows?)

The only complaint I have is that the shoestrings didn't stay tied, and I replaced them with hiking boot shoestrings.

This shoe is very comfortable and keeps you in style from the office, to dinner, to the theatre. I have a wide foot width and this shoe fits very well even with medium weight socks. It's rare to find shoes of this style and quality for this price.

This boot is perfect for me. I'm able to wear it with work clothes or with jeans on the weekend. It was comfortable from the first time I put it on. I have a narrow foot so it may run a little on the narrow side which was good for me.

I needed a half size bigger than usual. Very rare for me to find boots of any kind in 3A ir 4A that actually are that narrow. These are great, wear them all the time.

I wear this bootie with slacks or jeans. Great when we are in the City doing a lot of walking. The sole is very comfortable, better for a lot of walking than my usual flats. AND, best of all, I can keep up the pace without my feet aching. Warm, too.

I have a difficult to fit foot between size 11 and 12. These boots are available in my size from [...]. I had a black pair for several years. I am now ordering more pairs in other colors. I wear these boots with jeans of different colors, and with long skirts, mostly during the colder weather. They are comfortable to take long walks in and keep my feet warm, especially when I wear heavy socks. I really like these boots and highly recommend them.

These boots can be worn either at the office or with jeans.After wearing the 1st pair I then ordered 3 more pairs in different colors.It is very hard to find a nice pair of boots without a heel.But these are definatly the ones!
